Development Department

The story of mankind is an unbroken circle of giving and receiving,
Each human depending on the generosity of others.
If we are to continue to flourish, each generation must invest
In the ones that follow.

Mullen High School has become one of the nation’s premier educational institutions in part due to the partnership between volunteers and administration, faculty and staff, and as a result of the financial support of many generous constituents.

Linking these various groups is the Development Office; connecting students, faculty and staff, parents, past parents, grandparents, foundations, community leaders, and other friends. Development helps ensure that Mullen will have the vision as well as the resources to continue its mission for the next century.

Mullen as always, succeeds through teamwork. We all work together to celebrate and express the Lasallian values of exemplary teaching, a community of faith and care and vigilance for each student. Through publications, programs, events and individual connections, we hope to cultivate new relationships and strive to meet the educational needs of our students now and in the future.

Development Office Philosophy

As with all Lasallian institutions, Mullen is student driven. Our sole reason for being is to meet the needs of our students. Mullen's development, fundraising and special events staff has transformed itself over the past decade to become more attuned to a variety of factors: benefactors and foundation reporting requirements, technological advances, parents and alumni expectations, win-win corporate partnerships, and more sophisticated development tactics. In short, our goal is to create a Development Office that resembles collegiate offices, with a comprehensive program of planned giving, an endowment, and long-range strategic plan.
