Senior Citizen Prom 2008 |

Mullen hosted its' 15th annual Senior Citizen Prom on Saturday, April 19, 2008. It was a beautiful evening attended by almost 400 senior citizens from our community. Almost 200 Mullen students volunteered their time to make this event happen.

Mullen students gathered on Friday before the prom to set up the tables, decorate the gym, make corsages for each guest, stuff party bags and arrange flowers into spectacular centerpieces. All of this Mustang effort transformed Hutchison into the perfect backdrop for the Senior Citizen Prom.

Mullen students gathered again on Saturday before the prom to blow up balloons and take dance lessons so that they were well prepared to dance with the guests. As the guests arrived, students pinned on their corsages and escorted them to their tables as the live band played. Refreshments were served by the students as they attended to their tables. Dancing continued on until 9:30 when the guests departed. It was a spectacular evening where people of all ages had fun! |
